When Variety came to us to help celebrate their 75th anniversary we couldn’t help but want to add some colour and glitz to an organisation that has spent so long bringing its own bit of sparkle to so many children’s lives. Since they were founded, Variety has used star-power to fundraise and deliver life-changing programmes that offer young people across the UK a better future, and now was our chance to add a little sparkle of our own.
Variety believes every child has a right to live their best life and reach their full potential, whoever they are. Many will be familiar with the Variety Sunshine Coaches that run up and down the country, transporting children wherever they need to go, but what Variety does goes so much further. They offer support to the 4.3 million children living in poverty and the 1.5 million children living with a disability. And what’s more, they’ve been doing it for 75 years. They turned to us to revamp the look and feel of the organisation and bring in real change to coincide with this huge anniversary. As part of the project we reviewed and revamped many of their touchpoints, from digital and print assets, through to the coaches themselves. We also created a new logo for the celebrations, that was used in conjunction with a newly designed theme for their star-studded fundraising events. All of this helped Variety look and feel ready for another 75 years of doing the great work they do, and it was a pleasure to play a small part.
