GRIN
When our friends at Welcombe Hills Vineyard came to us with an open brief to help grow their business, we thought ‘when life gives you grapes, make gin’. Together we created a new product - a premium gin infused with grapes from the rolling hills of Warwickshire. And so GRIN was born - straight from the ginyard.
Having worked with Welcombe Hills Vineyard to position and develop their own brand of ‘Easy-going English wines’ we saw a gap in the market for a different kind of gin. You can make gin from pretty much anything and our hunch was that grapes could create a distinctive and very drinkable smooth-tasting spirit. We were right. The premium gin market has exploded in recent years, but it has also become increasingly pretentious and confusing. So we wanted to create a brand not simply infused with grapes but also with an easy-going and more accessible nature. A spirit with spirit, you might say. From product concept, market analysis and brand positioning through to naming, identity and visual assets we’ve created a brand we’re proud to be part of and have helped get on the shelves of bars and retailers. But the most satisfying part of the project has been sitting back and sipping a drink we’ve created together.
